Maybe I am picky, and I know that there are many styles of brownies, so everyone has different preferences. But I did not love these. They are ok, but the crispy part on top was too thick, and while they were rich and had a lot of chocolate, I was expecting something more special, based on the description and how Toronto Market Co is trying to sell only gourmet, curated items. My favorite brownies in the city are the Whole Foods brownies they make in house (the ones sold as a sheet in a pan, from their bakery). I would buy those anytime, whereas these just didn't excite me. They were way better than those "2 bite brownies" at the grocery stores, but that isn't a hard bar to exceed.
These were for one of my daughters who advises that they were delicious and well worth it!
Unbelievably fudgey and chocolatey without being under done! Absolutely loved these. Definitely some of the best brownies I've ever had.
The brownie was soft and had a lot chocolate chips.
