This plant-based yogurt alternative is made using almonds, and is dairy free, soy free and gluten free. It has the texture of yogurt, but with a sweet nutty flavour. Almonds are high in magnesium, which helps increase energy and maintain normal and nerve functions. Enjoy a jar on its own or added to smoothies, cereal, oatmeal, chia seeds, muesli, granola or salads.
This pasteurized product can be kept at room temperature before opening, but tastes best chilled. Refrigerate after opening and consume within 1-2 days if not used all at one.
I like almonds and I love yogurt so this seemed like an interesting thing to try. But I like almonds for their crunchiness and yogurt for its sweetness (mostly choosing fruity flavours) which means this yogurt replacement is not for me!
